Leeds Awkwoods

Daniel Oliver’s Awkwoods: A Rural Retreat is a 3-day awkwardly facilitated fantastical workshop about awkward audience participation and immersive performance. The participants and Daniel lived together, worked, ate, and slept in the same space. Our experiments, interactions, and discussions occurred within the fictional framework of a ‘rural retreat’ in some woods (when in reality we were at Leeds Live Art Bistro in March 2016). The ‘woods’ were constructed from parcel tape, dirt, sticks and so on.
